shoulder pain in dogs - agility dogs -chiropractor for dogs south shore boston and cape cod

I have been adjusting dogs this past weekend at the AKC National Agility Show in Harrisbury PA and have noticed a very common problem that occurs in many agility and non-agility dogs, and that problem is within the scapula of the shoulder.

The scapula referred to the wing by many is plagued with muscle tightness which can be caused by abnormal gait pattern and subluxation of the cervical [neck] and upper thoracic [upper back]. Jumping off a bed, out of a car and doing jumps like in agility can cause this problem.

The fix is to have an animal chiropractor evaluate the region and do some adjustments, cold laser, and give the owner some home remedies in the form of exercises to correct the problem.

hip pain - chiropractor weymouth mass

Hip pain can be caused by this muscle called the TFL. This muscle goes from the pelvis/hip to the outside of the knee. It can cause hip pain, leg pain and or knee pain. Injury to this muscle will also cause the hip and sacroiliac to lock up causing back pain. Improper warm up and or cool down as well as long sitting will strain this muscle.
Chiropractic Adjustments with muscle work and cold laser will help this problem.
Dr Bruce is certified in sports injuries and is the chiropractic director for the boston marathon.
Please call at 781-337-1180 or email at indekchiropractic@gmail.com
This muscle is called the TFL and runs from the pelvic hip area to the outside of your knee. If your hip and or side of the thigh along with your knee bothers you, it may be a TFL issue. Poor movement of the sacroiliac joint in the pelvis can cause this muscle to work incorrectly.
Chiropractic adjustments, muscle work and cold laser therapy will help fix the problem. You may notice pain while going up and down stairs or sitting in the car. The cause can be varied, possibly not exercising and prolonged sitting, improper warm up or cool down post activity.

Dr Bruce is Certified in Sports Injuries and has been the director for the Boston Marathon, and US Triathlon Team as well as an athlete himself. Please call him at 781-337-1180 or email at indekchiropractic@gmail.com
