Many dogs this winter have injured their back and legs slipping on the ice. Your vet will evaluate your dog and if nothing is torn or broken they will give u some meds for pain and inflam. but this will not address the primary problem of subluxation and the injury that will ensue down the road. There is a large compensation that occurs in this type of injury and it can cause further weakness and injury.
Have your dog evaluated by an animal chiropractor who is certified by the american vet chiropractic assoc. that way you can be sure your dog is getting the best care possible.
