Dogs have 7 vertebrae in the neck, 13 thoracic, 7 lumbar and 3 sacral. These bones all move in 6 different directions and any combination of those 6. They move dependent on each other, like dominos.
The grey nerves exit out between these vertebrae and can get irritated by poor spinal movement called a subluxation. These nerves control every muscle, organ and tissue in the body so irritation will short circuit these nerves thus changing information entering the spinal cord from these tissues and in turn altering information leaving these nerves as well. Symptoms can be nothing at all or spasm or lameness or organ disfunction or ........ The chiropractic adjustments help the body fix these subuxations and restore normal movement and nerve function.
