Dogs carry 60 percent of their body wt on the front legs, now add in a dog that may be over wt or an older dog or even an agility or performance dog and the wt increases on the front end.
Subluxation to the shoulder joint and the neck is common and will cause lameness and hesitation going upstairs and jumping in and out of the car.
