dogs with degenerative joints and degenerative disc disease - chiropractor for dogs south shore boston

Degenerative Disc Disease is very common among dogs and the typical scenario is to get meds such as traumadol from your vet. This only treats the pain and not the problem which is loss of joint motion and muscle function in concert with nerve irritation at the spine. Chiropractic is the best choice for this condition. Most Vets do not have any idea what the chiropractor will do so they have this conception that it will be traumatic and harmful. Wow is this fact off base. I teach many vets at Options for Animals Chiropractic College and can verify this crazy notion.

Chiropractic for these dogs is very gentle almost like a massage and improves mobility, decreases pain and improves the overall life of your dog.  The adjustments are very gentle pressure like points at various spinal joint locations to help unlock the joint and remove nerve irritation, along with myofascial work and stretching. I have been a chiropractor for 30 years and I can tell you first hand that chiropractic care is the right choice for these dogs.
