Degenerative disc dogs -dogs with disc problems - chiropractor for dogs south shore boston- cape cod- boston

The disc in some dogs is genetically prone to problems and some dogs develop the problem due to activity.
The disc is like a jelly donut. The dough is cartilage and the jelly is the internal disc gel. The disc also provides space for the spinal nerves to exit the spine and power organs and muscles.
If the disc tears ( the cartilage tears and the gel weeps out ) pressure is put on the nerves and can especially affect the legs.
Chiropractic adjustments to the spinal bones above and below the disc will help the healing process.
Traction on the spine done manually by the chiropractor along w ice thrapy will also help.
